A SKINCARE BRAND

Prior to working with Tention Marketing, they knew emails were important, but didn’t full grasp how important it actually was to have a full-stacked backend system implemented, and so only had a couple of basic flows set up. They had a basic Welcome flow and an Abandoned Checkout flow that were making less than 6% of their monthly revenue.

They were hardly doing any campaigns, and didn’t understand the importance of audience re-engagement (especially for a brand selling replenishable products).

So we started off by increasing the volume of emails, setting up 12 email flows and sending campaign emails 3-4 times a weeks. we also started focusing a ton on the post purchase journey of their buyers, incentivizing replenishments and re-purchasers.

A SUN PROTECTION BRAND

Prior to working with Tention Marketing, they had almost no efforts in building out a proper email marketing system. They were starting to hit 6 figures a month in revenue and were looking to nurture their community while maximizing their revenue with emails.

We started by creating a strong email collection device that hit a 9% newsletter signup rate which rapidly grew their email list. From there on, we just set up our backend system which consists of our full set of email flows, while sending out campaign emails 4 times a week.

We also segmented their email list, keeping their emails hyper personalized, while also split testing different forms of content with their audience base, to see which they engage with the most (since they never actually did it for themselves).

A WATCH BRAND

Prior to working with them, their flows all pretty much sounded robotic and had no brand authority. which especially for a watch brand is really important. THey had no community built around their brand and were hardly engaging customers on the backend.

The basic emails they had were relatively lackluster - poor copy, poor design, and zero relatability with their customer base.

So we basically revamped their entire set of flows, and replaced it with ours. we did increase their brand voice and authority, such as by adding way more personal and persuasive copy, while including on-brand designs that displayed brand authority.

We also split tested and optimized their email flows, finding the ideal content types their customers engaged with the most.With the changes made, email revenue went from 15% of total revenue to 34% of total revenue..
